Duties allowed to be performed by an Expanded Duties Assistant

Rule 150-9-.02 Expanded Duties of Dental Assistants

As per Rules of the Georgia Board of Dentistry, the certificate awarded will have the duties listed that are presented in each course, and the assistant may perform only those duties which are listed on the EDDA Certificate(s). Having one of these certificates coupled with your previous certificate is what brings you to the level of chairside assistant required by your doctor.
